We'll also be leveraging their beautiful rooftop spaces for our leadership development and executive coaching curriculum and other activities.

Day 1

Day 2

Day 3

Day 4

Day 5

Participants arrive in Rio Thursday to officially kick-off the experience. The theme of Day 1 is Connectedness and the group will spend 2-3 hours exploring Copacabana and Ipanema while getting to know the other participants of the group through a number of team building activities.

Impact is the theme of Day 2 and participants will have a delicious breakfast before completing our impact project in the Rocinha Favella, where we will be spending our time with various non-profits impact underprivileged children in the favela. Depending on the weather, the group will then get an tour of the Favela and then head over to Ipanema for some beach time and quick beach cleanup. The day ends back at our Airbnb with a deliciously cooked team dinner at a nearby restaurant followed by a retrospective session.

Day 3 is titled Survival day and focuses on getting participants outside of their comfort zones like never before. The day is simple - leave our Airbnb at 9 AM with only a bottle of water, sunscreen, and no other possessions (money included). Participants will break from the group and spend the day by themselves in Copacabana as they explore the town and its surrounding area. The group will end the day at the Airbnb for dinner, sunset, and a retrospective session.

On Day 4 the group will get to explore all that Rio has to offer: Sugarloaf Mountain, Christ the Redeemer, Sao Conrado Beach, and other hidden spots. Participants will have plenty of time to explore the best parts of Rio and reflect on the week to date, what has been discovered, and what comes after The Weekend Sabbatical program through a series of mindfulness activities.

The final day of The Weekend Sabbatical is called Vision Day. Day 5 is an early start and participants will spend the morning reflecting and sharing what they have discovered over the week. A tangible plan of action is made to continue to drive results around these areas of career clarity with the group facilitator. After breakfast, the group will take one final view of Rio before heading back to the airport for departure flights.
