Co-Leader: Erin Ward
Erin Ward strives to find out what it means to thrive and how to help others to do the same. Movement, breath, and meditation have evolved as her primary access points to freedom.
Born and raised on the east coast, Erin defined herself early on as an athlete, spending most of her time on the basketball court, the lacrosse field, and the track. It was when she landed in NYC for college that her world turned upside down. In the midst of battling intense anxiety, Erin found the yoga practice and never looked back. She took solace in intentional movement and patient, meditative breathing. The yoga practice took her out of the mind chatter and into her body — physically, emotionally, and energetically.
Inspired by the infinite healing capacity of ancient wisdom practices, Erin lives and serves as a 750hr RYT yoga, meditation, breathwork, and spiritual fitness teacher with a mission to make as big of an impact on as many lives as possible.
As a teacher and a writer, Erin looks for the weaving together of philosophy and practicality to foster a safe space for people to come, just as they are, move and breathe through whatever they’re going through, and tap into something bigger than their personal story. In her opinion, the linking of breath and movement is a poetry that carries us to a higher state.
Erin teaches public and private classes including her signature Disruption Sessions. She is trained as a spiritual psychology counselor, and leads both domestic as well as international wellness retreats. She is one of the lead teachers for The Class by Taryn Toomey method.
Erin currently lives in LA and has dreams of finding her perfect dog.

Itinerary - The Weekend Sabbatical
Participants arrive in Aguadilla Thursday morning and officially kick-off the experience at a hidden beach location. The theme of Day 1 is Connectedness and the group will spend 2-3 hours in the surrounding towns of Rincon getting to know the other participants of the group through a number of team building activities.
Impact is the theme of Day 2 and participants will have the option for a morning yoga flow or meditation session before completing our impact project in Rincon, where will be working with the community to continue the rebuilding efforts from Hurricane Maria. Depending on the weather, the group will then head over to Marina Tres Palmes for some beach time and snorkeling in some of the most pristine waters that Puerto Rico has to offer. The day ends back at our AirBnB with a deliciously cooked team dinner at a nearby restaurant followed by a retrospective session.
Day 3 is titled Survival day and focuses on getting participants outside of their comfort zones like never before. The day is simple - leave our Airbnb at 9 AM with only a bottle of water, sunscreen, and no other possessions (money included). Participants will break from the group and spend the day by themselves in Rincon as they explore the town and its surrounding area. Participants will have 3 goals for the day - to complete something mindful, physical, and spiritual. There will also be a few surprise tasks to complete through the day. The group will end the day at the AirBnB for dinner, sunset, and a retrospective session.
On Day 4 the group will complete a morning yoga or meditation session before heading to La Paguera for a boat adventure with swimming and snorkeling around a series of mangrove islands. Upon arrival, participants will have plenty of time to explore the surrounding islands and reflect on the week to date, what has been discovered, and what comes after The Weekend Sabbatical program through a series of mindfulness activities. After La Paguera, the group will stop in Cabo Rojo for a quick beach stop and finally in Gozalandia to splash around in Puerto Rico's top waterfalls. Nature is one of the best ways to reflect on your life and what better way to drive further reflection than at this powerful historic marvel.
The final day of The Weekend Sabbatical is called Vision Day. Day 5 is an early start and participants will spend the morning reflecting and sharing what they have discovered over the week. A tangible plan of action is made to continue to drive results around these areas of career clarity with the group facilitator. After breakfast and mindfulness activities, the group will take one final view of Rincon before heading back to the airport for departure flights.
